Registration Process

The registration for Histrionica 07 is a multi-step process. We would appreciate if you initiate the process as soon as you receive the invite by giving us a call or mailing us at histrionica07@gmail.com.

The contingent from each college should select a Team Leader who shall be responsible for all correspondence. The registration process has the following steps:

  1. The Team Leader (TL) should contact us by email/phone at the earliest.The email should contain contact details of the TL, particularly his phone number, college name and email id, and possibly, an estimate of the number of people who would like to participate in Histrionica 07.
  2. We shall be responding to the TL immediately by mail, and a detailed breakup of participants in a specified format will be asked. It is expected that the TL will respond to this mail at the earliest, providing us with the required details.
  3. We would be sending a confirmation e-mail on 7th November to all the colleges which respond before 5th November (first iteration date). This e-mail will have a Correspondence Sheet attached. The TL would have to fill the Correspondence Sheet, and mail back the completed sheet to us. The TL must also take a printout of the Correspondence Sheet on the official letter-head of the institute, get it signed by the Dean and bring it along at the time of reporting for the competition.
All colleges responding after the first iteration date (5th November) will receive confirmation email (subject to availability of accommodation) on 10th November.


The same steps will be carried out to complete the correspondence process, as described in the previous point.
* Please note that for confirmation of participation in Street Plays, the script needs to be sent in advance. The scripts should reach us by 5th November latest.
  • The confirmation e-mail must be retained and produced at the time of registration. Without these documents and college identity cards participants will not be permitted to enter the campus. Two passport/stamp size photographs of each participant are also needed.
  • Please note that only colleges that have confirmed their participation earlier are assured of admission into the SRCC campus. Colleges that have not confirmed their participation will not be granted admission.
  • A non-refundable registration fee Rs.350 per student is to be paid by all the outstation participants in cash at the time of reporting.
  • A refundable caution deposit of Rs.100 per student will be charged at the time of registration.
  • Entry in casual/informal events will be done on a first come first serve basis.
  • All outstation participants are required to register immediately on arrival at the Registration Counter.

The security deposit will be refundable, subject to the following conditions:

  • The team does no damage to the rooms where accommodation has been provided.
  • The team returns all issued items in proper condition.
  • No incidents of misconduct have been reported against any of the team members.
  • In case any team violates any of the above conditions, the Coordinators may decide to withhold the whole or part of the security deposit.
* The coordinators reserve the right to select the teams that participate in Histrionica 07 and no further arguments shall be entertained in this regard.
